Jonathan Olivo 

Jonathan Olivo (He/Him) is a versatile Mexican American writer, director and editor;  based in Mountain View, California. 

After graduating from San Jose State University in 2016 with the Emerson Doc Arends Award for Excellence in Film Directing, Jonathan has continued to write, direct, and star in a handful of different projects; from short films to music videos. His most recent music video for musician Danny Spiteri premiered at the Oakland Secret Film Fest.

Being born and raised as a former Jehovah’s Witness in the Bay Area, his films offer a unique perspective on humor and anxiety. Having been diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in 2022, he aims to create art that is genuine, breaks stigma, and shines a light on neurodiversity.
